The Miami Downtown Development Authority’s (DDA) business team has years of experience helping large companies and small businesses alike. We educate businesses on the value of Downtown Miami and a DDA address. We are experts at consultations and determining what and where in our district will work best for businesses. We assist service providers, organizations, restaurants, and retail stores in simplifying and navigating the layered requirements to open or expand. We are flattered, enthused, but unsurprised that our hard work is paying off. Our board of directors consists of local political leaders, business owners, investors, and residents. This group that leads our organization volunteers their time to ensure that we are doing all we can to serve the district’s residents, businesses, visitors, and investors.
We have a major international airport less than 7 miles away. The majestic Biscayne Bay is in our district, and the beach is just 6 miles away— viewable from many of the offices in our district. The Port of Miami is next to our district, and a regional train hub is in our district itself. We have the newest housing stock in Miami, residents with the highest educational attainment, top companies within our boundaries, and numerous firms to support business operations. We have modern museums, the championship-winning Miami HEAT, and the nation’s most diverse college system. Our dining and nightlife scene is one of the world’s best, as are our countless hotel options. Each of our amenities is reachable by walking, frequent, direct public transit— two modes of which are completely FREE, or our efficient road network.
