Over 1,000 people are moving to Florida every day in search of sun, surf, and value. Boasting summer-like weather in January, and zero state income or capital gains tax, it’s no wonder why Miami is a top destination for companies pursuing growth across a range of sectors.
At the center of it all is Downtown Miami, a waterfront district that’s home to thousands of businesses, 100,000 residents, and $39 billion in annual economic impact.
Once here, businesses enjoy access to a deep, multicultural talent pool, reduced business expenses by comparison with other major cities, and direct connectivity to all points. Are you ready to follow the sun?

TESTIMONIALS
“We’ve been in business in Boston for 20 years and could have moved our offices anywhere. The strong business environment and a growing number of financial and tech companies in South Florida made Miami a logical choice. Since arriving in Miami, we’ve embraced the city’s diverse talent pool, the urban vibe of downtown, the business-friendly climate, and life without state or local taxes.”
– Nucleus Research CEO Ian Campbell
“Since moving to Miami from New York, our firm has been able to grow our team with top-tier talent, and the Miami Downtown Development Authority has been a valuable resource in helping us learn the local landscape.”
– Andreas Moon, Managing Director of I Squared Capital.
“The decision to relocate to Miami from California was based on a combination of factors. Taxes were an important consideration, but so was the overall quality of life for our employees, the growing and modern nature of the city, and the welcoming efforts of local government and the Miami DDA, which made our transition seamless.”
