The Underline
Overview
The Underline is transforming the land below Miami’s Metrorail into a world-class, 120-acre linear park, urban trail and public art destination. The full project will span 10-miles that will transform regional mobility and celebrate diversity, culture and lifelong learning. Through innovative urban trails and creative programming, the Underline is connecting people to their environment and each other to create a safe, healthy, equitable and sustainable community. The Underline project is a collaboration between the Meg Daly-led 501C3 non-profit organization Friends of the Underline and Miami-Dade County of Department of Transportation & Public Works (DTPW), with additional funding from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), the State of Florida, the City of Miami, and the Miami DDA.
